One of my favorite things about the holidays is all the extra reasons it provides for friends to get together. And one of the best reasons is for crafts....and champagne. We chose an easy enough craft--DIY mugs and plates. Really, the hardest part is just deciding what to put on the mugs!
All you have to do is gather together whatever it is you want to decorate (I used cheap mugs and a platter I bought from Target. I think most recommendations say to use ceramic..I used porcelain, and didn't have a problem), sharpies, friends, food, and drinks! You really can do whatever you want. I'm not the most creative type, so I stuck with simple, but anything is possible! After you're done, stick the mugs into a cold oven, crank it up to 450 degrees, then once the oven has fully heated, set a timer for 30 minutes and bake away!
How much easier could it get?
